The rules for the SR d20 RPG refer only to the standard ruleset of the d20 modern SRD, see the second link for the rule documents. The rules for the "Arcana", "Menaces" and "Future" setting are not part of the standard rules of the SR d20 RPG, unless explicitly stated otherwise. But these additional rules may be a hint for the GM how to decide in questions that are not covered by the rules.
